Green Turtle Cay is one of many cays that lie to the east of the Great Abaco Island If you are looking to plan a trip to a remote area with the opportunity to catch large Bonefish, Permit, and Shark, the occasional Tarpon, and even take a run off shore, Green Turtle Cay in the Abaco's, Bahamas is definitely the place.

The flats in our area consist of mostly white sandy bottoms and turtle grass. Bonefish can be found throughout in decent numbers, during all tidal stages. As the tide comes in, more bonefish will arrive and you can see mudding with tails everywhere.

Bonefish cruise in large schools in search for a good feeding area, but don't be shocked if your target is a Permit and not a Bonefish.

But there’s more to Green Turtle Cay than New Plymouth. The island boasts a number of fine beaches, some of the best diving locations in the Bahamas, and a network of roads that will take you on long hikes to romantic bays and inlets, or quiet little harbors where boats sit at anchor.
